What is the difference between our services?

Physical Therapy: Physical therapy is the part of the rehabilitation team that aims to improve your gross motor physical function. We have extensive training in biomechanics of the human body and can help you determine what is limiting your gross motor function. Our interventions are targeted to help you decrease pain, improve strength and range of motion maximize your mobility.

Occupational Therapy: Occupational therapy is the part of the rehabilitation team that aims to improve your independence in your activities of daily living including academic, self-help, and social activities. Occupational therapy also addresses fine-motor skills and sensory integration concerns. Our interventions will help maximize your independence in life.

Speech Therapy: Speech therapy is the part of the rehabilitation team that aims to improve your ability to speak, understand and communicate verbal and nonverbal language. They also address cognitive challenges and feeding/swallowing difficulties. Our interventions will help maximize your ability to participate and communicate with the world around you.

Orthopedics

Our orthopedic services are designed to help you recover from chronic or acute pain, an injury, or surgery. Our therapists will work with you to improve your function and mobility so you can continue to do the activities you love and live your life.

Neurology

Our neurological rehabilitation team works with clients who have suffered from conditions such as stroke, brain and/or spinal cord injuries, and progressive neurological conditions. We use a true team approach with weekly meetings between your on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapist to ensure that your needs are being met and supported throughout all of our services that you receive at our clinic.

Vestibular

We work with clients who are suffering with vestibular conditions, which affect one’s sense of balance. These conditions are usually stem from the inner ear and can include vertigo, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, Meniere’s disease, and more. Our team works to help clients regain their balance by utilizing physical and occupational therapy methods, so they can move and get around safely.

Geriatrics

Whether a client has undergone surgery, is suffering from dementia or Alzheimer’s, or is struggling with a chronic condition such as arthritis, our team will create a treatment plan utilizing physical, speech and occupational therapy as necessary. Our goal is to help our geriatric clients maintain as much independence and mobility as possible.

Pediatric
